We are seeking a skilled Automotive Security Tester to join our team. This role will involve providing day-to-day Level 1 support, identifying development difficulties through Jira, conducting regular testing, and supporting integration efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive security testing, AUTOSAR, Vector Tooling (Canoe), experience with scripting in Python, and excellent documentation skills. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our automotive solutions meet rigorous security and quality standards. Knowledge of VW or AUDI tools and processes is considered a great advantage.
Key Responsibilities:- Day-to-Day Level 1 Support:
Provide first-line support for day-to-day issues, ensuring that any development difficulties with BTVs (Basic Test Vehicles) are quickly identified and addressed through the Jira system. - Testing (50% of Role):
- Conduct IBK (Integration Build Kit) tests every 14 days, using a predefined version status for 1 day. Perform these tests independently following the standard test scheme (smoke tests).
- Prepare and execute tests to ensure the functionality and security of automotive software and systems.
- Support Integration (50% of Role):
- Collaborate with suppliers to verify that all requirements are being correctly implemented and integrated into the overall system.
- Provide release support by ensuring documentation from suppliers and BTVs meets required standards of accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and maintain scripts using Python to automate testing processes and support further evaluation of system components.
- Documentation and Release Support:
- Ensure high-quality documentation is produced for all tests and integration processes.
- Assist in the release process by reviewing and approving documentation provided by suppliers and internal teams.
