- You will build a modern, secure and scalable automotive data analytics platform for connected-cars.
- Therefore you will design, build and refine our data and analytic infrastructure.
- You will grow our analytic capabilities with more reliable pipelines and better tools.
- You will design and develop a real-time event pipeline and work with Data Scientists, Cloud Engineers and DevOps Engineers to find new ways to leverage this data.
- You will develop complex and efficient functions to transform raw data sources into powerful, reliable components of our data lake.
- Part of the job will also be monitoring & managing all aspects of system security, performance, storage, incidents, usage, backup and recovery for databases, applications, and infrastructure on Azure.

- Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering or comparable studies.
- Working experience as a Data engineer with proficient knowhow.
- Knowledge of distributed systems topics, data structures, algorithmic complexity with hands on experience.
- Knowledge and in-depth understanding regarding scalable architectural styles and patterns for building a data processing platform for IoT devices as well as knowledge of Azure services and streaming/messaging technologies like Apache Kafka, Azure EventHub.
- Experiences with Event stream or batch processing engines like Apache Spark Streaming or Apache Kafka Streams.
