Are you looking for an innovative and agile environment in which you are responsible for optimal technical solutions and act as an interface between different stakeholders in the project? Then become part of our IT unit!

Your duties

  • As a requirements engineer / business analyst (f/m/x), you are not only responsible for providing technical advice to our customers, but also for the responsibility and implementation of projects during the entire development process; from the initial contact to go live and beyond.

  • In sparring with the project manager ("go to person"), you convince with your technical expertise already in the pre-sales phase, before you identify, analyse and prioritise complex requirements for processes and IT systems in the requirements analysis and formulate them from both the diconium and the customer perspective.

  • You are responsible for the description of features, user stories and contents of the training courses and independently take over the moderation of requirements workshops.

  • During the scoping phase, you are responsible for the creation of story maps, the tracking of the development progress and the compliance with company-specific standards. Other to-dos include scribbles, use cases and process modelling.

  • You spar with the development teams regarding the requirements and testing (acceptance criteria) and also like to do some programming yourself, so that you always have your finger on the pulse of practice.

Your profile

  • You are enthusiastic about agile project structures, new methodological approaches and a modern technology stack.

  • You have several years of relevant professional experience as a requirements engineer, business analyst or software developer; preferably in a SAFe environment or in an agile automotive context.

  • You are tech-savvy, have strong communication skills and are very experienced in using tools such as Jira and Confluence; requirements engineering software is also welcome.

  • Desirable, but not a must: a successfully completed degree in (business) informatics or comparable training in the field of IT.

  • You have good German and English skills, both spoken and written.

Our offer

  • Born digital: Benefit from our many years of experience and our agile up-to-date culture
  • Life-Work-Balance: Decide for yourself where and when you work: across locations in the Digital Workspace, part-time, completely flexible, taking a sabbatical – no problem with us.
  • Appreciation: We rely on flat hierarchies and are respectful, loyal and appreciative.
  • Perspectives: We offer very different and individually tailored career models and a steep learning curve.
  • Benefits: In addition to retirement provisions, employee discounts and a wide range of sports activities, we offer great company outings and legendary parties.
  • Hybrid Work: We support you in working from home in a healthy and well-equipped manner. Remote onboarding included, of course!

What our colleagues say

Meet Anja | Senior Consultant IT & Salesforce Consultant
“When I have free time, I like to spend it doing yoga, playing guitar or learning Japanese.”

Hi Anja, you have been working as an IT consultant at diconium for more than 6 years now and already have a total of 20 years of professional experience in the industry. Where does your enthusiasm for the IT field come from?

That was in my school days. My father started his own business when I was 11. Our children’s room became his office. He taught himself programming and created websites. Being online for the first time, dialing in via ISDN, we experienced all that live as children. When I was 16 or 17, I had the opportunity to take IT as an elective subject. IT and business studies were my best subjects, so it was relatively obvious to go in the direction of business informatics.

And how did you eventually come to work for diconium?

diconium was recommended to me by a friend seven years ago. The mindful atmosphere of the interview, the warm welcome in the first weeks as well as the many options to learn, grow and network made that choice easy. From the start, I had the feeling that my opinion mattered and is taken seriously.

Reflecting on your past projects, which one sticks out for you and why?

What really stands out for me is not so much a single project but the team spirit. Knowing the strengths and interests of each other, everybody has their eyes on both team happiness and project success. It’s an atmosphere where nobody is reluctant to reach out to others for help.
